Caitlyn Jenner won’t be available at her son Brody’s wedding, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The 34-year-old star will be tying the knot with his long-time fiancée Kaitlynn Carter in Nihi, Sumba Island but as per the source close to the family, Caitlyn “has work commitments that have been set up for months and couldn’t be changed in the end.” The source has said that “everything is good” between the two, adding that the 68-year-old star “will be throwing a big party for them when the newlyweds return to town.” Caitlyn— who shares Brody and 36-year-old son Brandon with her ex-wife Linda Thompson—has been indulged in the couple’s past wedding festivities, celebrated her future daughter-in-law in April when she has attended her bridal shower at the Santa Anita Park racetrack in Los Angeles.

Caitlyn has captioned the picture of her and the 29-year-old bride-to-be, “Went to my first bridal shower. I had so much fun! PS so much better than Bachelor parties!” Kaitlynn has commented on the post, writing, “I’m so happy you were there!!! It meant a lot to me!!”

Another important family members that who will miss the nuptials: Brody’s half-sisters, the 22-year-old supermodel Kendall Jenner and the 20-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder and the mother of one Kylie Jenner— whom he’s grown estranged from in recent years. [He has recently admitted that he was kept in the dark about Kylie’s pregnancy.]

Recently, Brody has told PEOPLE that his two little sisters, they never even heard from them, they never even RSVP’d, he doesn’t think. He has explained that they sent them an invite but they just never heard anything back, and they’ll be missed, he would have loved to have had them there.

Caitlyn has discussed how her relationship with her kids has changed through her transition. In a statement, Brody and his siblings have admitted, “We can honestly say that Caitlyn’s gender transition has brought our family closer together and for that we are grateful.”
